A completed High School Certificate (or equivalent) OR
A completed AQF Certificate III (or higher) qualification OR
A completed Tertiary Preparation Course from an Australian University or an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies OR
Work experience, within the same industry as the course profile, of at least two years full time or equivalent, evidenced by a detailed resume
Standard English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements apply.

You can apply for entry to the Undergraduate Certificate in Creative Writing with a high school certificate, a Certificate III (or higher), a Tertiary Preparation Certificate or relevant work experience.
This creative writing course provides a pathway into the Bachelor of Arts. You study four subjects from that degree - so when you transition into it, you'll receive credit for the subjects you've already completed in your certificate.
You'll develop a broad range of writing skills spanning many genres from children's literature, life writing, writing and producing for the digital age and writing for the screen and stage. You will also discover how to develop your own creative practice, and techniques to apply it to the craft of writing in a wide range of contexts.
You'll join a vibrant academic community that is engaged in research and practice across the literary field, from poetry and Asian-Australian writing, through post-colonial and feminist thought, to the intersection of literature and computer games.
