Entry requirements

Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree from an appropriate tertiary institution and must have completed subjects PSY101 and PSY102 or their equivalents.

The core first year psychology subjects from the Charles Sturt Bachelor of Psychology (or their equivalents) are prerequisites for entry into this course.

Flexible delivery

Our course is delivered with flexibility in mind. Selected subjects are offered each year in Session 3 (November to February), which may allow you to fast-track your study.

Further study

The Graduate Diploma is not a fourth year in psychology. However, graduates may be eligible to apply for a fourth-year psychology program (e.g. Charles Sturt University's Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) (Honours) ) or a fourth and fifth year combined program (e.g. Charles Sturt's Master of Psychological Practice (with specialisations)). Please note that completion of the Graduate Diploma in Psychology does not guarantee admission to either of these courses.
