About this scholarship

Open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents

The scholarships are established in honour of Alexander Downer AC and Mike Rann AC, two individuals who championed the establishment of Carnegie Mellon University in Australia.

Why study at Carnegie Mellon

Highly recognised as a trailblazer in the world of technology, business intelligence, and robotics, CMU’s current and past faculty members and alumni are making waves in art, science, and technology.

In a world where it seems jobs are scarce, the 2010 Wall Street Journal poll for job recruiters rated Carnegie Mellon as No. 1 for computer science, No. 4 for finance, and No. 7 for business — with an overall ranking of 10, aiding graduates with the skills to find a job in their field with ease.
