The Master of Applied Financial Technology and Blockchain is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for a career in applied finance, the financial services industry, and any commercial organisation embracing transformative digital technologies. The course aims to provide theoretical, factual and experiential knowledge in the core fields of blockchain, data analytics, cryptography, cybersecurity and digital technologies. The course is business-oriented, emphasising the application of digital technologies in a commercial context. A capstone experience completes the course, or instead, acquired skills in research methods can be used to examine a relevant area of personal or professional interest.

Learners will engage with the course through cloud-based content and classes facilitated by subject matter experts. Classes will be held on campus or optionally through synchronous video streaming. The master's course is at the cutting edge with business applications of digital technologies embedded across the curriculum.

Entry requirements

  • An Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification, including an overseas qualification); or
