The Graduate Certificate in Digital Health will help you develop an evidence-based foundation of digital health, and a sound understanding of the relevant concepts and application of digital health technologies to suit the health industry. You also will learn how to make ethical decisions regarding the adoption of various digital health technologies into the future.

This contemporary course will address rapidly, ever-changing digital health technologies, and examine the use of these technologies within the industry. The curriculum is both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary and will bring together current and new knowledge from health and digital health professionals. You'll gain skills and knowledge in digital health technologies that you can apply directly to your work.

Entry requirements

An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

International applicants must also meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:

  • Bachelor degree (or higher)
  • Submit a resume alongside their formal application, demonstrating suitability for study, and industry experience and/or prior learning over a sustained period.

To complete the Graduate Certificate in Digital Health, students must complete 40 credit points (cp).

    • Specified Units HLSC506 Strategic Management In Digital Health Service Delivery (10 cp)
  • Year 1 ACU Term 2
    • Specified Units PHIL519 Ethical Practice in Digital Health (10 cp)
    • Specified Units HLSC674 Electronic Health Records, Health Data Exchange & Standards (10 cp)

All units are delivered in Online Unscheduled mode.
