    A four-year undergraduate degree in education or a three-year undergraduate degree plus a one-year graduate diploma in education, and in either case a minimum of three years professional experience in an educational context;
    OR

    Domestic:

    To be eligible for an offer applicants must have:

    An AQF level 7 (or equivalent) career entry level undergraduate degree in Paramedicine from an approved tertiary institution.

    OR

    An AQF level 5 or 6 qualification that meets registration requirements as a paramedic in Australia AND an AQF level 7 undergraduate degree from an approved tertiary institution in a cognate health profession.

    In addition, applicants must:

    • Provide a statement from your employer confirming current employment as a paramedic and
    • Have current AHPRA registration in paramedicine without conditions or notations.

    To be admitted to study the Master of Marine and Antarctic Science you must have a Bachelor of Marine and Antarctic Science or Graduate Diploma in Marine and Antarctic Science from the University of Tasmania, or an equivalent qualification from an Australian university. An example of an equivalent qualification is a Bachelor of Science with a major in life sciences (such as biology, environmental science, zoology, plant science, marine biology, ecology etc).

    In addition, specifically for the Governance and Policy specialisation, students may be admitted with a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an Australian university in a governance and policy field with evidence of completion of units at undergraduate level that are related to life sciences.

    Admission to most postgraduate coursework courses at the University of Tasmania require qualifications equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree.     This course uses a minimum credit average GPA requirement for prior tertiary education and equivalent ranks as part of the admission process.

    Applicants must have completed a Bachelor or Master degree (other than Physiotherapy) from an Australian university in the last 10 years, having completed the equivalent of:

    • two units (25 credit points) of human physiology, ideally including exercise physiology
    • two units (25 credit points) of human anatomy, including detailed musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological anatomy
    • one unit (12.5 credit points) of study in psychology, and
    • one unit (12.5 credit points) of study in research methods and/or evidence-based practice.

    Bachelor degree in study fields such as exercise science, biomedical or other health science is recommended.

    Progression to Master of Taxation

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be granted for courses completed in the Graduate Certificate, subject to course alignment with the Master's program. Upon progression into the Master of Taxation, students may be eligible for up to an additional 12 Units Of Credit (UOC) of RPL for electives (which is usually the equivalent of two courses), subject to course alignment with the Master's.
