• minimum of 7 years full-time professional work experience with a minimum of 1 year full-time (or equivalent) supervisory/management professional work experience.

Supervisory experience is experience either supervising staff or managing complex groups of stakeholders.

• recognised bachelor degree in any discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.50 (on QUT's 7-point scale) plus a minimum of two years' full-time post-degree professional work experience which could include projects managing complex groups of stakeholders or supervising staff; or
• minimum of seven years' full-time professional work experience which could include managing projects managing complex groups of stakeholders or supervising staff.

You may be required to:

As part of QUT's application for admission process you will be automatically assessed for the 1.5 year program. If you wish to be considered for the 2 year program only please indicate this on your application form.

Master of Business - 1.5 year program

• graduate diploma or masters in any discipline with a minimum grade point average of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale) and at least 6 months (full-time or equivalent) working in project management. • Australian bachelor honours degree (or higher) in engineering built environment or business disciplines with a minimum grade point average of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale); or
• Australian bachelor honours degree (or higher) in any discipline with a minimum grade point average of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale) and at least 6 months (full-time or equivalent) working in project management. • Successful completion of QUT's Graduate Certificate of Project Management course with a minimum grade point average (GPA) score of 4.00 (or equivalent on QUT's 7 point scale); or
• Successful completion of QUT's Graduate Certificate in Communication for Engineering with a minimum grade point average of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

You must have:

• A recognised bachelor degree (or higher) in nursing.
• Current registration as a Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

You need either:

  with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4 (on QUT's 7 point scale)
  in nursing; or

QUT will consider equivalent overseas qualifications for admissions purposes. If you have tertiary qualifications from countries where English is not the standard language of instruction you must provide evidence of English language proficiency.

We require students to demonstrate they can speak write read and comprehend academic English to a specified standard.

Our English proficiency requirements for this course are:

• IELTS (Academic): 7.0 or better overall with no subscore below 6.5
• PTE: 65 or better overall with no subscore below 58
• TOEFL (IBT): 98 or better overall with a writing subscore of 24 or better and other subscore below 20
• Cambridge English Score: 185 or better overall with no subscore below 176

The test must have been completed within 2 years prior to the proposed course start month.
