<div>If you have a degree in nursing or a health-related area and you'd like to extend your knowledge and skills for advanced practice in the health sector, this programme will build on your specialist knowledge.The programme is tailored for health managers and health practitioners, specifically registered nurses and other health professionals working for DHBs, PHOs, the fitness industry and sports organisations, as well as social workers, community care workers and allied health practitioners.You'll expand your knowledge within an inter-disciplinary learning environment and develop skills in critical analysis, constructive synthesis, and advanced practice and research within your chosen discipline area.There are two pathway options for achieving this qualification:Option 1: Scholarly Project option (240 credits) up to 6 years part-time:Choose any four courses from the full list (excluding the Level 900 courses) to complete a Post Graduate Diploma of Health Practice or equivalent. Master of Nursing

<div>The Master of Creative Practice is applicable to creatives such as musicians, dramatists, performing and visual artists, designers, film makers, writers, directors or any professional engaged in creative pursuits. If you're a graduate with experience working in the creative community and you'd like to become a leader in creative practice, this is the perfect way to establish your credentials in your chosen domain. The programme may also suit you if you don't have extensive experience but you've demonstrated academic and creative success at graduate or undergraduate level. The Master of Creative Practice is designed to engage you in understanding, investigation and intervention within your chosen domain in academic or professional contexts. It will give you the opportunity to critically reflect on your practice through theory, and to further develop the practice into a more substantial and fully-independent research-based thesis. You'll be enabled to extend your domain of creative practice through enacting an advanced, sustained and sophisticated body of independent original practice-based research, which conforms to internationally recognised standards. You'll also be equipped with the skills and knowledge to extend your domain of practice through the undertaking of independent original research. </div>

Master of Creative Practice

<div>The Master of Sustainable Practice is designed for individuals who seek to lead innovative problem solving in sustainable practice. It culminates with a 60-credit applied research dissertation. Across the range of core, project and applied research components, you'll gain advanced interdisciplinary skills and knowledge that will enable you to: critically evaluate and apply concepts of sustainable practice; work independently and collaboratively; and become a change-maker contributing to sustainable practice. You'll also develop and apply advanced understandings of the theories, driving forces and worldviews (including Te Ao Maori) related to sustainable practice within the context of your discipline-specific knowledge. The programme facilitates collaboration and innovation and applies an interdisciplinary framework to address complex sustainability problems. Upon completion of the programme you will be able to: advocate for, and lead change towards, more sustainable practices; apply high level research skills to plan and conduct independent inquiry projects related to sustainability in professional contexts; and be an independent learner who can utilise and undertake research to formulate solutions to sustainability issues. Part-time up to 4 years. </div>
