    Entry Requirements

    Admission requirements are met by one of the following:

    • Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 70*.
    • Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate IV level or higher.
    • Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma with a GPA of at least 3.
    • Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
    • Attainment of a STAT Multiple Choice score of 147.
    • Successful completion of the Tertiary Enabling Program, the Preparation for Tertiary Success courses, or other recognised tertiary preparation course of at least 12 months duration.
    • Submission of an acceptable personal competencies statement and/or employment experience.

    Available to high-achieving students, the Bachelor of Midwifery Honours course is an additional year of study that provides an opportunity for students to develop the knowledge and skills required for conducting research in an area of midwifery practice.

    Entry Requirements

    Successful completion of a recognised bachelor degree in midwifery or equivalent international qualification in midwifery with at least a credit average (GPA 5.00 or equivalent).

    Entry Requirements

    Successful completion of a recognised bachelor degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, master s degree or equivalent international qualification in a relevant field.

    Consideration will also be given to those who do not have one of the above qualifications, but who have at least five years relevant professional experience, for example in tertiary education, adult education, learning design or digital technology training. Applicants must provide further documentation in the form of a curriculum vitae (CV) with their application.

    • Applicants must also hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Division 1 registered nurse.

    Hospital-trained nurses with current registration may also be considered.

    • Applicants must also hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Division 1 registered nurse; and
    • Current employment in a medical nursing context is required. Applicants should include details of their relevant employment in their application.
