About this course

This course gives professionals working in logistics, supply chain management, project management, and operations management the knowledge and skills to succeed in a rapidly changing business environment. Logistics/ Supply chain management enable the student to successfully manage the flow of materials and information within and between organisations and other relevant stakeholders. Project Management equips students with the skills and knowledge to deliver on large scale projects as well as continuous improvement within an organisation. Students will learn how to diagnose existing processes and supply chains and how to implement a supply chain strategy within an organisation. Additionally, skills and capabilities are developed on project planning, execution and revision.

The Master of Science (Supply Chain Management and Project Management) is a two-year course that allows you to undertake two specialisations in Supply Chain Management and Project Management. This course requires you to complete a total of 16 subjects. In addition to the core subjects from the Master of Science, students study all eight subjects from both specialisations.

If you have already completed an undergraduate in Project Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related area, you may receive credit for prior learning for this course.

Students who are interested in studying a shorter course with one specialisation should consider the Master of Science (Supply Chain Management) or Master of Science (Project Management).

If you do not meet the direct entry requirements for this course may consider the Graduate Certificate in Business as a pathway option.

Entry requirements

Recognised Bachelor degree, in a specialisation related to Business, Engineering, Maths or IT with an equivalent average mark of 50% or a Graduate Certificate in Business. Other tertiary qualifications combined with extensive professional work experience will be considered.
