Entry requirements

 

Admission to candidature for the Master of Education (TESOL) requires:

  • a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification and either a postgraduate English language teaching qualification or at least two yearsfull-time English language teaching experience; or
  • a bachelor's degree in English language teaching or equivalent qualification and at least one year's full-time English language teaching experience.

If you do not meet the requirements listed above for direct entry to the Master's degree, you may be able to enter via a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in the same subject area and upgrade to the Master's after successful completion of the shorter course.
