The Master of Applied Linguistics provides you with the opportunity to engage with international experts in the fields of functional linguistics, world English, and language, culture and media discourse. You will attend seminars on educational linguistics, TESOL, clinical linguistics, forensic linguistics, and translation and interpreting. You will be trained to apply your knowledge of language in diverse settings, including teaching, translation, journalism and media, language policy and planning, website design and socio-educational development.
