The Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Public Health lets you develop your career while working at the same time. The one-year part time course is taught fully by distance, using interactive online classrooms that connect you to professionals in the field, support your learning and host weekly interaction with teachers. Offered in conjunction with the School of Public Health at Sydney, the Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Public Health prepares students to meet the modern challenges of preventing animal disease outbreaks and managing animal health. Subjects include veterinary epidemiology, biostatistics, hazards to human and animal health, animal health economics, animal health policy development, data management and data analysis. The units of study available in the Veterinary Public Health program are also offered in the Veterinary Public Health Management (VPHMgt) program. The Graduate Certificate is part of an embedded program in veterinary public health, offered in conjunction with the School of Public Health. Subject to meeting progression requirements, you may apply to transfer to the Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Public Health or the Master of Veterinary Public Health.
