This course provides an opportunity for intensive research training across our priority research areas including: cancer; chronic disease and ageing; infection and immunity; injury and acute illness; and mental health. You will engage with world-class researchers to develop your expertise and gain advanced research and critical thinking skills that will see you publish work in journals, improve patient experiences and influence health policy.
During your 3-4 year candidature, you will have the opportunity to attend a range of workshops and other research activities and regularly contribute to the intellectual life of Sydney Nursing School through seminar presentations and participation in meetings and conferences.
Our reputation in research is internationally recognised. In both 2012 and 2015, we achieved the highest possible Excellence in Research for Australia ranking for research: "well above world standard" and we were ranked first in Australia for nursing by the 2016 QS World University Rankings by Subject.
