Health and safety in the workplace is a legal requirement for business operations. Keeping abreast of occupational health and safety principles and practice is essential for health and safety professionals, practitioners and organisations, to ensure they meet requirements and legislation introduced by State and Federal Government, and for managing health and safety risks in a complex and changing environment of work.
This program is designed to leverage your existing knowledge, allowing you to approach complex workplace health and safety issues in a more comprehensive manner, taking a strategic, holistic and evidence-based approach in developing, implementing and evaluating safety initiatives and campaigns that not only comply with legislative requirements but also take into account the complex nature of work, health and safety hazards and risks.
