The Juris Doctor (JD) Scholarship for Academic Excellence was established to assist high achieving students to undertake the Juris Doctor Program at UNSW.

The Scholarship will be payable for a standard full-time program, duration of up to 3 years, subject to the recipient's satisfactory progress. Satisfactory progress is considered to be a minimum distinction average over all courses.

Four scholarships will be awarded each year, two at the commencement of each semester.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens or have been granted Permanent Resident status by 31 October of the year preceding commencement of the Juris Doctor qualification.

Applicants must be eligible for entry to the Juris Doctor program prior to applying for the Scholarship.

Recipients will be determined on the basis of academic merit and a statement outlining academic achievement and their commitment to studying for a Juris Doctor.
