The Scholarships have been established to encourage high achieving domestic and international students to apply for the Faculty's growing list of postgraduate coursework programs.

Each Scholarship will have a value of $10,000 and will be tenable for a period of one year for students enrolled full time or pro rata for part time students (up to a maximum period of 2 years).

The Scholarship will be payable in two equal installments over the academic year for students enrolled full-time, and pro rata for students enrolled part time.


Applications will be accepted from students applying for the following programs:

UNSW postgraduate law coursework degree programs:

  • Master of Laws: LLM
  • Master of International Law and International Relations: MILIR
  • Master of Human Rights Law and Policy: MHRL&P
  • Master of Dispute Resolution: MDR
  • Master of Criminal Justice and Criminology: MCJCrim
  • Master of Business Law: MBL
  • Master of Law, Media and Journalism: MLMJ
  • Master of International Law and Security: MILS
  • Master of Environmental Law and Policy: MELP


Applicants will be assessed and ranked against the following criteria:

  • Academic merit
  • Professional experience
  • Reasons for undertaking postgraduate studies in law


Interviews are not required for this Scholarship
