The course is designed to prepare midwives to undertake an integrated research, teaching and practice role consistent with the increasing professionalism expected of practicing midwives. Upon completion of the course, graduates may be eligible to apply for entry to doctoral candidature. Students entering the program with completion of a Graduate Diploma in Midwifery or Graduate Diploma in Child, Family and Community will enter the course with Advanced Standing in the first year of the program and be required to select only 60 credit points from the year 1 subjects. **NSG-CPDNIP - Nurse Immuniser Program is a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program. Students who successfully complete this program as their chosen elective or core choice option will be granted 15 credit points of unspecified advanced standing. #Health electives are chosen from available subjects within the Schools of Nursing & Midwifery, Psychology & Public Health and Allied Health at year levels 4 or 5.
