The Master of Occupational Therapy aims to prepare you for professional practice as an occupational therapist across a range of settings, including rural and remote areas. The course prepares you to become a contemporary, client-centred health professional able to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team. The Master of Occupational Therapy has fulfilled the requirements for entry level education of occupational therapists and has been awarded the status of Accredited Occupational Therapy Course by Occupational Therapy Australia and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists. The Master of Occupational Therapy is an approved program for registration by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia which has set registration standards that aim to ensure that every registered health practitioner has the qualifications and skills to provide safe care to the Australian community.
