Lesley Lillian Graham Award (Master of Teaching – Secondary)

This award was established by the will of Miss Lesley Lillian Graham to reward outstanding secondary student teachers majoring in English. The donated funds are to be used to assist a student studying towards becoming an English Teacher. The Lesley Lillian Graham Award (Master of Teaching – Secondary) is open to students enrolled in a Master of Teaching - Secondary with a specialisation in English. The scholarship is valued at $5000.

Eligibility guidelines

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

• be an Australian citizen or an Australian permanent resident;
• be able to demonstrate academic merit;
• be enrolled in 60 credit points;
• demonstrate your teaching ability; and
• be enrolled in a Master of Teaching (Secondary) with a specialisation in English.

Selection criteria

Selection is based on  academic merit, teaching ability and a personal statement outlining the  reasons for choosing English Teaching as a career.
