The Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Environments and Planning provides an opportunity for studies in the areas of Environmental Management and/or Urban Design and Planning. Both areas of study are increasing in their importance worldwide due to global population growth, increasing urbanisation and significant environmental challenges. This degree provides the opportunity to gain some of the professional skills required for work in a variety of natural and built environment fields involved in creating sustainable environments. With this qualification, graduates will be able to undertake work relating to urban planning and environmental management or progress onto further studies within the same discipline.
