We also recommend that you apply for advanced standing (credit) as you may be eligible for a reduced duration of study in P7E.

    A cognate undergraduate degree would be in the same or related area eg, maritime management, maritime operation, logistics management, supply chain management, and business management; or any Bachelor degree with a major in business, logistics management, and supply chain management

    Cognate industry experience would be in the fields of maritime, transport, logistics and supply chain.

    Admission to Honours courses at the University of Tasmania require qualifications equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree.     Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration with a minimum overall grade point average of 4.50 (on QUT's 7 point scale) you can articulate into the Master of Business Administration.

    A completed recognised bachelor degree in any field with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.5 (on QUT's 7-point scale); and

    • A GMAT score of at least 550; and
    • A minimum 3 years full-time equivalent relevant managerial or professional work experience post-degree. You may be required to be available for an interview with the MBA Director to demonstrate relevant work experience.
